Unit sizes and dimensions are estimated and are generally measured from the outside perimeter. For example, a 10 X 10 unit is about 10 feet wide and 10 feet deep, with an 8-10’ ceiling. Unit sizes, however, including cubic feet, will vary by the measurement of the interior space because of such factors as support columns, wall thickness, ceiling height, ventilation, lighting and fire sprinkler systems etc. Odd shaped units are assigned to the closest size code that contain similar square footage (e.g. a triangular space containing approximately 100 square feet will generally be referred to as a 10 X 10).

Customers should inspect the unit before signing the contract and assure themselves that the unit is adequate for their intended use and customers accept the unit “As Is,” including the approximate size of the unit.
